We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Operations Assistant to join our team, working closely with reception and the administrative staff. This is a vital role that requires strong leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the reception team to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Oversee and manage the reception area, always ensuring efficient workflows.
- Supervise the appointment system, ensuring timely and smooth service for patients.
- Train and develop reception staff, ensuring data accuracy and efficient processing of patient information.
- Oversee all administrative tasks completed by the reception team.
- Act as the first point of contact for complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Communicate effectively with staff at all levels within the surgery.
Skills and Experience Required
- Proven leadership experience in general practice.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Approachable, calm, and reliable, with the ability to remain composed under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly and make sound decisions in changing circumstances.
- Willingness to cover shifts and adapt to varying schedules when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of people.
