An opportunity has arisen with Chelmer Medical Partnership for a part-time or full-time experienced Medical Secretary.
The role is responsible for providing essential secretarial duties within our busy GP practice, dealing with telephone and email enquiries, managing referrals to secondary care, audio typing of GP correspondence using a digital dictation system, liaising with patients about their care and assisting GPs with negotiating care pathways.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication and IT skills, have the ability to work under pressure and be flexible to be able to work extra hours to support colleague’s sickness and holiday absence.
