Details of Role
We are recruiting a part-time Practice Nurse to work 16 hours over two days on a Tuesday and Friday. Our practice has 6 GPs and 3 Part time Practice Nurses. We care for a list size of approximately 8000 in a friendly rural community.
The ideal candidate should have, good all-round practice nurse experience or to include:
Cervical Cytology
Childhood Immunisations
Travel Vaccinations
Influenza, Shingles and Pneumococcal Immunisations
Wound Care
Management of Chronic Disease
Family Planning
ECG’s
Applicants will have core hours but will need to be flexible to cover holidays and have good communication skills.
We are an System One practice so knowledge is essential.
