We’re on the lookout for a capable and confident Practice Nurse to join our primary care team. This is a part-time role (24–28 hours per week) and we need someone who’s ready to hit the ground running. You must be experienced in the full scope of general practice nursing duties.
What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll be expected to provide a wide range of practice nurse services with confidence and autonomy, including but not limited to:
- Chronic disease management (Asthma, COPD, Diabetes, etc.)
- Cervical cytology
- Childhood and adult immunisations
- Travel health advice and vaccinations
- Contraceptive advice and support
- NHS Health Checks
- Infection control & health promotion
- Support for QOF and enhanced services
What We’re Looking For:
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
- Proven experience in a general practice or primary care setting
- Up-to-date with current protocols, PGDs, and best practices
- A team player with great communication skills
- Someone who takes initiative and doesn’t need their hand held
- Someone who is flexible, reliable, and professional
