Ambrose Avenue Group Practice is seeking to recruit a Clinical Pharmacist to join our supportive clinical team in general practice.
As a pharmacist, you will have significant autonomy within your professional boundaries. Your primary responsibilities will include providing essential support to the GPs and the repeat prescribing team in all matters related to medicine management, implementing effective medication management practices within the practice, and identifying areas for improvement.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside fellow pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. In this patient-facing role, you will clinically assess and treat patients using your expert knowledge of medications related to specific disease areas.
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Pharmacist with a background in a General Practice environment.
Candidates should possess excellent organizational and communication skills, along with a high level of computer proficiency.

Conducting Structured Medication Reviews and Optimization
Providing Enhanced Health in Care Homes Services
Implementing Anticipatory Care
Delivering Personalized Care
Supporting Early Cancer Diagnosis – Participating in Cardiovascular Disease Prevention and Diagnosis
Addressing Local Inequalities
This is a permanent position, and we welcome both full-time and part-time applicants. Desired working hours can be discussed during the interview. We offer 5 weeks of annual leave (pro rata), a competitive salary, and the opportunity to join or continue in the NHS Pension Scheme.
