Elizabeth Courtauld Surgery is recruiting a Salaried GP to join their friendly, high-achieving practice for 8 sessions a week.
The post holder will deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for our patients. This will include being duty doctor for two sessions per week and undertaking a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home or at our designated care home on occasions, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork, results, reports and correspondence in a timely fashion.
The post holder will:
- Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems.
- Screen patients for disease-risk factors and early signs of illness.
- Develop care plans for health in line with current practice protocols.
- Provide health education.
- Record clear consultation notes to agreed standards.
- Collect data for audit purposes and comply with QOF requirements.
- Deliver enhanced services.
- Compile and issue computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions
- Provide all general duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.
All candidates must:
- Be a fully qualified GP with GMC registration.
- Have an annual appraisal and revalidation (where appropriate).
- Be on the NHS England Medical Performers’ List.
- Have well-developed IT skills, including experience of SystmOne (desirable).
- Have excellent interpersonal skills.
Elizabeth Courtauld Surgery is a SystmOne practice with a list size of 16,500 patients. The practice has achieved a ‘Good’ CQC rating.
